A post from Mashable alerted me to this nifty Twitter tool, Twitter for Busy People. Personally, the only thing I dislike about Twitter is the feeling I've missed something, or someone, when I've been off Twitter for a while and their tweets are pushed off the page.

Twitter For Busy People is an application that shows the faces of your friends on Twitter who have tweeted in the last hour, day or longer. Just mouse over and you get a popup of their last few tweets. I love it! Best Twitter application EVER!

White Shirt Wednesday – Kinda White

I’m on an extended vacation, hence the tumbleweeds here. I’m in Mississippi again and it’s waaay hotter here than in Florida. The tee that is saving me from completely melting into the pavement where my carcass would be picked over by giant mosquitoes is a gossamer light tee from Erge Designs. It’s a white (of course) v-neck patterned burnout tee with the most wonderful black floral design in a couple of places.

Sadly, I couldn’t find a pic to show you as it must be sold out. I got it from Marion’s, a local boutique in St. Petersburg, a couple of weeks ago. It seems Erge is one of those brands you can only find at boutiques, not department stores.

So, I’ll show you a few other designs by Erge and, trust me, you’re going to want to get a shirt by Erge. It’s the most comfortable thing I’ve worn in years. The shirts are quite long and scrunch perfectly at the bottom. They have other styles, like long-sleeved tees and hoodies, but I like the classic v-neck.

I found these kids’ tees at a site called Juvie and only wish I could find them in adult sizes because I think the patterns are great.

Finally, check out these summer-weight scarves in animal patterns. It’s the same silky-soft fabric and I think I need one for BlogHer.

White Shirt Wednesday - The "It" Tee

I happen to really like this LnA tee, and it's not just because a lot of celebrities have been spotted wearing it. I like it. I do. I think that little zipper pocket is adorable. I'm trying to get over the fact that Megan Fox is wearing it, because I find her quite annoying. Not as annoying as this guy does, but annoying nonetheless.

By the way, I think that Jessica Biel looks kinda glowy and possibly preggers in this picture. I don't know, it's just a vibe I'm getting. Maybe she's just happy that she's dating Woody Allen.

White Shirt Wednesday - "I'm not doing shit today."

My least favorite thing about working from home is when my husband asks me some variation of "What are you going to do today?" or "What did you do today?" When he asks me this I imagine all sorts of inflection, undertone and attitude and I immediately burst into flames. 

I do things. I do a lot of things. I sometimes don't work as much as I'd like, however, because I'm busy doing all of those things that keep our house from being condemned. That really is the biggest problem with working from home - being distracted by a tumbleweed of Labrador hair rolling past me at the computer and the next thing I know I have no good answer to this question at the end of the day.

Perhaps a uniform is in order. Just so everyone knows what time it is. Just for the record, the kids are out of school for the summer, so don't even think about asking me this question for the next two months.
