Kelly, why is it that at the first sign of colder weather my lips get chapped and stay that way until it warms up again. I don't really get it. It's Florida! It's not like I'm climbing up a glacier or something.
I've been suffering with this condition for about two weeks, treating myself with every form of balm and lip product I can find around the house. Then, Erin saunters up and asks me to open the tin of lip balm she's holding.
As an initial matter, I am amazed she can't open something. She is the David Blaine of the six year old set. But, once I'm over the shock, I realize it is my long-lost tin of Smith's Rosebud Salve that disappeared months ago.
I applied a thick layer to my trout lips and remembered exactly why I love the stuff. Finally, total and complete relief. It's good for lips, cuticles, diaper rash, wind burn and more, and perfect for everyone's stocking this Christmas. It is around $6.
My lips actually puff up quite a bit when they are chapped, so I guess they will go back to normal now that the Rosebud Salve has turned up. And, no, this post isn't an attempt to cover up the fact that I got lip injections, because I would totally tell all.
